Operations Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food delivery technology company seeking an Operations Manager for their Paris office on a hybrid basis. Our client is transforming how people access food services across a complex, multi-sided marketplace serving millions daily.

In this role, you'll tackle strategic challenges that directly impact customer experience in the French market. You'll own market-level initiatives, build data-driven plans, and drive continuous improvement across logistics and network operations. This position requires deep analytical capabilities, competitive awareness, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Own complex logistic and financial strategic initiatives across the French market, collaborating with multiple business units to enhance delivery network performance
• Define hyper-local market strategies that optimize network efficiency, balancing cost priorities with growth and service level objectives
• Create models and frameworks to industrialize monitoring processes and support operational decision-making
• Drive improvements to customer and rider partner propositions through data analysis and innovative solution implementations
• Develop synthetic documentation and present insights to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions
• Monitor competitive landscape, identifying trends and opportunities for market differentiation

What We're Looking For

• 3-4 years of experience in a high-paced, project-based environment such as a tech startup or management consulting firm
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with excellent mastery of Google Suite/Microsoft Office and advanced Excel modelling capabilities
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Proven track record of autonomously structuring, coordinating, and executing complex projects
• Exceptional prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects using 80/20 approaches
• Excellent oral and written communication in both English and French
• Demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing senior audiences
• Strong stakeholder management abilities and collaborative mindset
• Analytical "doer" attitude focused on solving real-world problems with measurable short and mid-term impact
• Ability to grasp both big-picture interdependencies and detailed operational dynamics
