About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Senior Java Tech Lead for a strategic initiative in Paris. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai has been engaged to identify an experienced technical leader who can drive architectural decisions and mentor development teams on complex front-office trading applications.

This role offers genuine technical influence on a portfolio of approximately ten mission-critical applications supporting market activities including decision support, pricing, portfolio valuation, and risk management. You'll work in a stimulating environment where understanding complex business problems and crafting elegant technical solutions directly impacts trading operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions and technical direction for the application portfolio
• Design robust, performant, and scalable solutions for front-office trading systems
• Challenge existing implementations and identify modernization opportunities
• Resolve complex technical problems across multiple interconnected systems
• Mentor developers and elevate team technical capabilities
• Ensure technical coherence and quality standards across the entire scope
• Contribute directly to development—this is a hands-on role for someone who loves to design, decide, and code
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate trading requirements into technical solutions
