Field Account Executive

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS company that is expanding its field sales team in Lyon. Our client operates in the hospitality technology sector and has refined their go-to-market approach over recent years. They are now entering a hyper-growth phase and need talented Field Account Executives to drive local market penetration across Lyon and surrounding areas.

This is a field-based role where you'll own the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and close. You'll work closely with a Field Sales Manager and contribute to building an ambitious, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Execute field sales activities including door-to-door outreach, cold calling, and in-person presentations to convert prospects into customers
• Manage the entire sales cycle: identify and develop leads, conduct client meetings, create compelling value propositions, structure financial deals, negotiate contracts, and close business
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand business challenges and pain points
• Deliver in-person product demonstrations that showcase the solution's value
• Analyze pipeline metrics, report on performance, and take action to optimize results
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Generate new business opportunities through networking events and community engagement

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales experience in a field-based, outbound environment, ideally in solution sales or technology
• Strong understanding of sales development best practices and methodologies
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding customer service abilities with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Data-driven mindset with ability to make quantitative decisions
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment
• Fluency in both French and English
• Entrepreneurial and agile mindset with bias toward action and ability to pivot as needed
• Experience in hospitality is a plus but not required
