Senior Operations Manager (H/F)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization in their search for a Senior Operations Manager based in Moissy-Cramayel, Seine-et-Marne. This is a dual-role position where you will split your time between hands-on operational leadership (approximately 2 days per week) managing teams of 150+ order preparers and 10+ team leaders, and strategic project work (approximately 3 days per week) focused on process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Site Director with Cadre status, you'll bridge the gap between daily operations and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement projects to optimize operational processes and workflow in the fulfillment center
• Analyze operational performance indicators, diagnose issues, and implement solutions
• Design, implement, and test improvements to facility flow and warehouse management systems
• Supervise daily fulfillment center activities approximately 2 days per week, managing 150+ order preparers and team leaders
• Provide leadership and coaching to ensure a healthy work environment and team development
• Collaborate with other departments across France and internationally to optimize overall logistics operations
• Work flexible hours including early mornings (from 5:30 AM), late evenings (until 10:00 PM), and occasional Saturdays

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in logistics, supply chain, management, or engineering
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience with significant operations management and team leadership background
• Fluency in both French and English for international collaboration
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to deeply understand processes and drive improvement
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate teams while remaining hands-on
• Valid French driving license (Permis B)
• French nationality, EU citizenship, or valid French work authorization (employee status)
• Availability for variable schedules including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
