About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential research and consulting organization in the insurance sector, seeking a working student to join their Innovation, New Business & Startups team in Leipzig. This role offers 15-20 hours per week and provides hands-on experience with emerging technologies, business models, and the InsurTech ecosystem.

Our client supports insurance industry companies with research and development initiatives, analyzing trends and developing strategic solutions. They operate across market analysis, strategic consulting, and professional education formats.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and projects focused on innovation and new business in the insurance industry
• Research and analyze current trends, technologies, business opportunities, and market developments
• Contribute creatively to developing new ideas and formats from initial conception through implementation
• Work on trend radar initiatives by researching and evaluating new developments, preparing content, conducting plausibility checks, and creating supporting documentation
• Assist with conception, preparation, and execution of workshops, events, and exchange formats
• Prepare presentations and working materials for various audiences
• Translate insights, trends, and findings into accessible formats for different communication channels
• Actively participate in a New Players Network, gaining exposure to the startup and InsurTech scene
• Identify and research new companies and business models, support networking activities, and contribute to pitch and exchange events

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university with at least two semesters remaining
• Very good German language skills (required for this role)
• Strong interest in innovation, new technologies, trends, and business models
• Excellent research skills with ability to structure and present information clearly
• Proficiency with standard MS Office applications
• Independent, thorough work style with curiosity and creativity
• Interest in generative AI with some initial experience using AI tools
• Ability to contribute original ideas and perspectives
