Danish Language Instructor

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential language services organization that provides cultural and linguistic training to international professionals and their families. Our talent team is currently seeking a skilled Danish Language Instructor to deliver virtual instruction to adult and child learners relocating to Denmark.

This is a contracted teaching position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work remotely with motivated students preparing for their transition to Danish-speaking environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging beginner-level Danish instruction to adults and children via virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet)
• Conduct two 1-hour teaching sessions per week, typically scheduled around 6:30 or 7:00 pm CET on weekdays
• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student goals and learning styles
• Supplement provided curriculum with authentic materials and interactive activities
• Track student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed
• Maintain professional communication with students and our client's coordination team

What We're Looking For

• Advanced Danish language proficiency at C1 or C2 level
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Danish to adults or children
• Comfort delivering instruction virtually through video conferencing platforms
• Ability to work with beginner-level learners and create supportive learning environments
• Flexibility to accommodate evening scheduling in Central European Time
• Self-directed approach to curriculum development and lesson planning
• Located in Denmark or operating within compatible time zones

Pay
