Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to provide technical and operational support to enterprise customers. In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality technical support to enterprise clients, resolving product-related issues through email, phone, and remote troubleshooting sessions
- Conduct root cause analysis by reproducing customer-reported issues in controlled test environments
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and AWS to support enterprise cloud infrastructure needs
- Develop custom utilities, workarounds, and solutions to address critical issues and enhance product functionality
- Implement fixes for defects identified during troubleshooting or customer escalations
- Support release activities including performance analysis, functional testing, and validation of service packs and hotfixes
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures
- Mentor Product Support and Product Operations teams, providing guidance and knowledge sharing
- Partner with Implementation and Development teams to address complex technical challenges
- Document critical problem details to ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product support or implementation within the healthcare industry
- 7+ years of experience reading and writing relational database queries using T-SQL or ANSI-SQL
- 7+ years developing or supporting applications using COM, VB, Jscript, Java, Perl, C#, or VB.Net
- 7+ years working with EDI and EDI systems, including knowledge of HIPAA and Enrollment Management in healthcare
- 7+ years of experience with HTML/XML
- 6+ years of hands-on code debugging and defect analysis experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS, specifically deploying and managing healthcare technology applications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities
- Capacity to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and tools
