About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client seeking a Senior Partner Deployed Engineer based in the United Kingdom. This is a unique technical leadership role focused on building and enabling a strategic partner ecosystem across EMEA. You will work at the intersection of field engineering, partner strategy, and technical evangelism—embedding with systems integrators, cloud consultancies, and hyperscaler partners to help them understand, position, and deliver our client's developer infrastructure platform.

This role combines strategic partner engagement with hands-on technical work. You will shape how partners bring AI development infrastructure solutions to market, create repeatable sales plays and enablement content, and intervene directly on high-value co-sell opportunities. You will operate with significant autonomy, building processes and programs from first principles in a fast-growing startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical thought partner to EMEA partner leadership, including CTOs, practice leads, and solutions architects at global systems integrators and cloud consultancies
• Co-create tailored sales plays and go-to-market strategies for each partner's customer base, vertical focus, and service capabilities
• Develop and deliver workshops, technical labs, and partner enablement sessions; build demonstration environments partners can deploy independently
• Provide direct technical support on strategic partner-attached deals: co-sell calls, technical discovery, proof-of-value scoping, architecture reviews, and win support
• Transform partner engagements into scalable enablement modules, certification programs, and self-service tools
• Produce reference architectures, deployment guides, and integration documentation for partner and customer use
• Build a library of repeatable GTM plays: discovery frameworks, positioning guides, demo scripts, and PoV templates
• Create AI-powered tools to automate common partner activities and scale your impact across the ecosystem
• Synthesize field intelligence into monthly reports for product, engineering, and commercial teams
• Own EMEA-specific portions of joint integration roadmaps with strategic technology partners
• Publish partner-focused technical content: blog posts, cookbooks, conference presentations, and enablement videos
• Support cloud marketplace initiatives, competency documentation, and compliance requirements for EMEA markets

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, Technical Consulting, or Developer Relations roles at an infrastructure, developer tools, or AI company
• Demonstrated experience helping partners or customers adopt products in emerging or undefined categories
• Production-level hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with deep Kubernetes and Terraform expertise
• 2+ years deploying or operating AI coding agents in production or near-production environments; understanding of agent execution, credential management, and governance requirements in European enterprises
• Ability to articulate architectural distinctions in agentic systems and explain their security, compliance, and data sovereignty implications
• Experience working with channel or technology partners in co-sell models: hyperscaler programs, systems integrator partnerships, or distributor ecosystems in EMEA
• Track record building repeatable technical GTM assets that scaled beyond personal delivery: sales plays, enablement curricula, reference architectures, or content programs
• Executive-level communication skills; credibility to engage with partner CTOs and lead technical architecture reviews in the same day
• Strong written communication: ability to produce strategy documents, technical architectures, and public-facing content
• Self-directed and comfortable operating autonomously; able to define new processes and build programs from scratch
• Fluency in English; additional European language proficiency is a plus

Bonus qualifications:

• Prior Forward Deployed Engineer experience at a platform or AI company
• Public technical advocacy: conference talks, blog posts, open-source contributions, or community engagement
• Operational experience with hyperscaler partner programs and co-sell motions
• Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks: GDPR, DORA, NIS2, AI Act, and data sovereignty patterns
• Experience with air-gapped or network-isolated deployments in financial services, government, or defence
• Background in AI governance, session auditing, or SIEM integration for AI workloads
• Experience with LLM gateway infrastructure or human-in-the-loop patterns for autonomous agents
• Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)
• Experience with overlay networking tools like Tailscale
• Open-source contributions in CNCF, MCP, or AI agent ecosystems
• Existing relationships with EMEA hyperscaler teams, systems integrator practices, or AI infrastructure partners
• Fluency in German, French, or a Nordic language
