About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior PHP Backend Developer for a fully remote position. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on payment platforms and high-transaction systems while collaborating with a skilled development team focused on solving complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems using development best practices on AWS infrastructure
- Develop and refine payment processing platforms handling high transaction volumes with strict security requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Implement architectural patterns and maintain code quality standards across the platform
- Contribute to team objectives and participate in technical decision-making
- Work with serverless technologies and cloud-native solutions
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel or Phalcon
- Strong expertise in C#, AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Payment technology experience required (VISA/Mastercard processing, ecommerce platforms, high-volume transactions, security protocols)
- Deep understanding of software development best practices and architectural patterns including Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, and MVC
- Proficiency with code design principles including SOLID, Observer pattern, ORM, Factory pattern, and Repository pattern
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Hands-on AWS experience, particularly with serverless technologies (AWS certification is a plus)
- Strong English communication skills for written and verbal collaboration
- Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
