About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer for a fully remote position based in Australia. This role offers the opportunity to work with payment systems and financial technology infrastructure at scale, collaborating with an experienced international development team on complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
- Automate operational processes and reduce manual effort through scripting and tooling
- Develop monitoring solutions, alerts, and integrations to ensure system reliability
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure following industry best practices
- Troubleshoot issues across the full stack, from application layer to cloud resources
- Maintain and scale storage solutions in production environments
- Contribute to engineering culture through knowledge sharing and technical presentations
- Implement security and compliance controls for financial services
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years hands-on with AWS
- Strong expertise with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, and EKS
- Experience maintaining and scaling Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, or similar storage solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Shell
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Working knowledge of CloudFlare, configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Compliance knowledge or certifications in SOC1, SOC2, or PCI DSS preferred
- AWS, DevOps, or compliance certifications are a plus
- Must hold valid work authorization for Australia
