About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential compliance technology company in their search for a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives and drive significant annual recurring revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach talent, build repeatable sales processes, and stay close to the metrics that matter—from pipeline health to forecast accuracy.

Our client serves tens of thousands of businesses nationwide through their technology platform. They've experienced consistent growth and recent investment to accelerate product development and customer experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Account Executives to drive $2,500,000+ in annual recurring revenue through disciplined, data-driven sales execution
  • Develop and execute scalable sales strategies, set team targets, manage pipeline coverage, and hold the team accountable to performance benchmarks
  • Coach and mentor Account Executives on prospecting techniques, discovery, objection handling, and contract negotiations to elevate performance
  • Oversee outreach and lead qualification efforts, ensuring a healthy and well-prioritized opportunity funnel across cold prospects and existing clients
  • Guide the team through comprehensive buying journeys, including discovery, customized pitches, and win-win negotiations
  • Establish and enforce CRM best practices, ensuring accurate and consistent deal details, influencer associations, and qualification notes
  • Deliver high-accuracy ARR forecasting every two weeks at individual rep and team levels, targeting precision above 90 percent
  • Serve as the strategic voice of the market by synthesizing team feedback and communicating evolving industry trends to product and partnership stakeholders
  • Travel as needed for industry conferences, client engagements, and team events

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of exceeding quota
  • 2+ years in a team lead, senior, or managerial capacity
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Deep expertise managing complex, full-cycle sales processes
  • Strong command of CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including pipeline reporting and team-level analytics
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling sales processes, playbooks, and training programs

  • Strong analytical capabilities to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategy
  • High adaptability and composure navigating organizational complexity and rapid change
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to manage both individual responsibilities and team-level operations
  • Mastery of consultative sales methodologies with ability to coach on discovery, pitching, and closing
  • Experience building a culture of continuous improvement using call reviews, pipeline audits, and feedback loops
  • Collaborative leadership style with cross-functional experience alongside partnerships, marketing, and product teams
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex industry nuances into clear, compelling narratives
  • Genuine commitment to mentoring early-career sales professionals and building long-term team capability

Pay

Our client offers a base salary range of $93,000–$110,000 plus commission, with an on-target earnings (OTE) structure of $155,000–$183,000. The final offer will be based on your skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Benefits may include health coverage, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement.
