About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join their distributed team. This is a key backend engineering role focused on building and maintaining critical services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, and external APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public and internal services for payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions with focus on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and business impact while maintaining high code quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js (required)
• Direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Strong ability to efficiently move from ideation to implementation
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Work ethic and commitment to delivering results in a distributed team environment
