Microsoft Modern Work Architect (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a leading cloud technology consultancy in the Munich area that is seeking a Microsoft Modern Work Architect to join their growing team. This role combines strategic consulting, technical architecture, and hands-on implementation work with enterprise clients across Germany.

You'll work at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, helping organizations transform their digital workplace using Microsoft cloud solutions. From initial discovery workshops through to full-scale implementations, you'll guide clients through their Modern Work journey while supporting pre-sales activities and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Design modern target architectures based on Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft Security solutions
• Provide technical support to sales teams during client meetings, workshops, proposal presentations, and pre-sales activities
• Advise clients on the implementation and evolution of modern workplace and collaboration solutions
• Lead conception and delivery of migration, transformation, and Modern Work projects with a balanced mix of strategic architecture work and hands-on implementation
• Facilitate discovery and architecture workshops, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Share knowledge actively within the team and collaborate closely with specialists in Modern Work, Security, and Azure

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 Modern Work projects, comfortable in both strategic and technical discussions
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID, and Security/Compliance solutions
• Enthusiasm for pre-sales activities, workshops, and client conversations with the ability to communicate technical content effectively to both management and technical audiences
• Hands-on experience with technical implementation, migration, and integration of modern workplace solutions
• Understanding of the relationships between Microsoft 365, Azure, and modern cloud architectures with a holistic approach to solutions
• Fluency in German and English with professional presence in client-facing situations
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or adjacent AI technologies
• Nice to have: Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert), MS-700 (Teams Administrator Associate), SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator Associate), or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
