Werkstudent Consulting – Healthcare-IT & Krankenhausprozesse (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare IT organization seeking a working student to support consulting projects focused on hospital digitalization. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of clinical processes and information systems implementation.

You'll work alongside experienced consultants on real hospital projects, gaining practical insights into how digital solutions are deployed in clinical settings. This position is ideal for students who want to combine academic learning with meaningful project work in healthcare technology.

Location: Leipzig
Employment Type: Working Student Position (Werkstudent)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week during semester

Responsibilities

• Support consultants on digitalization and software implementation projects in hospital environments
• Assist in preparing workshops, client meetings, and presentations
• Participate in training sessions and go-live preparations depending on project phase
• Research clinical and process-related questions and present findings in a structured manner
• Gain exposure to various hospital information system modules including medication management, intensive care, operating rooms, patient administration, and medical documentation
• Collaborate closely with consultants and cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end project implementation

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Medical Informatics, Medicine, Nursing Sciences, Health Economics, Health Management, eHealth, Digital Health, Process Management, or comparable program
• Ideally some prior exposure to clinical processes through internship, vocational training, working student role, or academic project
• Structured, careful, and independent working style with willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent German language proficiency (minimum C1 level)
• Availability for 15–20 hours per week during the semester
