About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded Series A startup in the AI development space, seeking a Developer Advocate to join their London office. Our client is building cutting-edge tools for AI-native software development and needs someone who can authentically connect with the developer community while creating educational content that scales.

This is a hands-on role where you'll build real applications, teach through structured learning programs, and become a recognized voice in the AI developer community. You'll split your time between creating with the product, developing curriculum, and showing up where developers gather—both online and at events.

Responsibilities

  • Build applications, integrations, and creative projects using our client's platform to demonstrate real-world capabilities and inspire the developer community
  • Design and deliver structured learning content including courses, hands-on labs, guided projects, and certification paths through the company's developer education platform
  • Create written tutorials, articles, guides, and video content that provide practical insights into AI-native development
  • Maintain an active, visible presence in AI developer communities through speaking engagements, forum participation, social media engagement, and highlighting community projects
  • Explore the AI developer tooling landscape to identify integration opportunities and ecosystem connections
  • Run webinars, appear on podcasts, and engage in developer communities across Discord, Slack, Reddit, and other gathering places
  • Own curriculum development, keeping educational content current as the product evolves and focusing on what genuinely helps developers learn

What We're Looking For

  • Active voice in the AI developer community with established presence on social channels and discussion platforms—you post, reply, and spark conversations
  • Proven track record speaking at meetups or conferences and engaging meaningfully in developer communities
  • Builder's mindset with excitement for creating integrations, applications, and experiments—you prefer shipping to just describing
  • Teaching ability to break complex AI topics into clear, progressive steps that meet developers where they are
  • Strong written communication skills for technical AI topics
  • Comfortable with code and able to build and hack on projects yourself (full-time engineering background not required, but you can ship)
  • Experience building developer education including courses, curriculum, academies, or bootcamps (nice to have)
  • Experience with open-source communities and contributor ecosystems (nice to have)
