Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team in Cardiff. In this role, you will be embedded within cross-functional product squads, working alongside engineers, designers, and product managers to drive data-informed decision making.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Applying quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation expertise to understand user behavior and inform product strategy
• Guiding product teams to measure key metrics and designing A/B experiments to continuously improve product features
• Collaborating with finance teams to develop a unified understanding of user lifetime value and how product features impact profitability
• Working with engineering teams to ensure proper data collection for generating relevant business insights
• Translating complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
