About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential technology communications organization based in Munich. They're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their growing technical team and work directly with clients on integration projects and API development.
This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical solutions while collaborating closely with development and consulting teams. You'll serve as a technical advisor to clients and contribute to the evolution of digital communication platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support the solutions department in implementing and integrating technical solutions for clients
- Develop and advise on REST API interfaces, contributing to clients' technical advancement
- Collaborate with development and consulting teams as a direct client contact
- Analyze requirements, design and specify scalable solutions, and implement them independently
- Bring your own ideas and technical insights to project work
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree or vocational training with programming focus (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable background); career changers with relevant experience are welcome
- Practical experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of web development with Node.js/JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Knowledge of XML, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with Git version control and modern development tools such as Bitbucket and Jira
- Initial experience with AWS or other cloud environments, or willingness to learn
- Interest in or foundational knowledge of Large Language Models and AI-based tool development
- Very good German skills (C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level) for international projects; Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication abilities with the capacity to explain technical concepts clearly
- Structured, solution-oriented work style with eagerness to dive deep into new technologies
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in Munich with flexible remote work options. The organization values genuine flexibility, allowing you to decide when to work from the office or remotely. There's a weekly team day in the office to maintain collaboration.
