About This Position

We are seeking a skilled Structure & Mechanic Design Engineer to support our ongoing programmes in the Bremen Area. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimising structural and mechanical systems for advanced airborne platforms. This is a hands-on position that combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving, allowing you to influence the design of next-generation aerospace solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and refine structural and mechanical designs for airborne systems
• Conduct stress analysis, feasibility studies, and design verification activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across design, testing, and production
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in accordance with aerospace standards
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept through to manufacture and certification
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
• Engage with supplier partners and validate design solutions

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, aeronautical engineering, or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience with structural design, mechanical component development, or aerospace applications
• Proficiency with CAD software and analysis tools commonly used in the aerospace sector
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and design standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multinational teams
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project activities and stakeholder meetings
