Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential surface technology organization that has recently opened a specialized powder coating facility near Bad Füssing, Austria (close to the German border). This role involves working with 3-dimensional metal components up to 9 meters in length.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Independently powder coating metal components according to quality specifications
- Operating and adjusting powder coating guns and coating systems
- Preparing, inspecting, and assessing components prior to coating
- Monitoring coating quality and identifying typical coating defects
- Performing color and powder changes while maintaining careful handling of materials and equipment
- Adhering to internal quality, safety, and operational standards
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks candidates with:
- Several years of practical experience in powder coating (ideal)
- Alternatively: training or solid professional experience as an industrial painter, automotive painter, or coating technician
- Strong manual skills with a clean, quality-conscious working approach
- Technical understanding and ability to work independently
- Good German language skills for safe communication in the production environment
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift operation
Experienced industrial or automotive painters without prior powder coating experience are also welcome to apply. Our client provides targeted training in powder coating techniques for candidates with relevant practical experience and strong manual skills.
