(Senior) Creative Strategist (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce business in the pet wellness sector. Our client is looking for a (Senior) Creative Strategist who doesn't just manage creatives—they own them. This role is for someone who understands the difference between an ad that looks good and an ad that converts, and who can prove their work drives revenue.

This is a hands-on strategic role based in Münster, Germany, requiring regular office presence alongside flexible remote work.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire creative funnel from first impression to conversion. You'll develop customer journeys across landing pages, advertorials, listicles, video sales letters, Meta ads, and UGC scripts for Meta, Google, and native platforms.
• Develop video concepts and scripts for Meta and YouTube that are hook-driven and performance-tested, not guesswork.
• Write crystal-clear creative briefs that editors and UGC creators can execute independently without follow-up questions.
• Analyze creative performance data from Ads Manager, draw conclusions, and brief the next iteration. You'll work with CVR, CAC, AOV, and ROAS as tools, not just reporting metrics.
• Build a scalable testing framework including A/B tests and creative rotations that systematically improve performance.
• Demonstrate audience instinct by speaking to real people and their motivations, particularly pet owners who view their animals as family members.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Creative Strategist in performance creative or direct-response marketing, ideally within DTC e-commerce
• Documented results with specific numbers—campaigns you've owned, copy that demonstrably converted, and measurable impact on revenue
• Demonstrated success with Meta video ads including VSLs, UGC-style content, and hook testing
• Deep understanding of sales psychology beyond basic frameworks. You know storytelling structures (PAS, DIC, Before/After) and when to deploy scarcity, urgency, and social proof—and when to leave them out.
• AI-native workflow proficiency. You leverage AI tools for research, ideation, variant scaling, and rapid execution, but you know the difference between good and brilliant still depends on human judgment.
• Excellent German copywriting skills. You write copy that reads like a letter to a friend, not a technical manual—language that sells, not impresses.
• Self-starter mentality. You don't wait for assignments. You bring ideas, execute them, and measure results independently.
• Bonus: Experience in FMCG e-commerce sectors such as skincare, pet products, supplements, or health products
