Senior Product Manager, In-Store Tasks

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential grocery technology client seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their in-store task platform. This role focuses on building shopper-facing tools that capture critical store intelligence—inventory accuracy, item location, and fulfillment quality data—using computer vision and mobile technologies.

You'll own the product vision and roadmap for how shoppers receive, complete, and optimize in-store data collection tasks. This work directly impacts order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and retailer partnerships across thousands of locations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for in-store task collection experiences, scaling from pilot to thousands of retail locations over the next two years
• Design shopper workflows that leverage computer vision technology to efficiently gather inventory and store mapping data
• Build deep understanding of operational pain points to create tools that improve scanning accuracy, task completion speed, and shopper satisfaction
• Partner with retail account teams to support onboarding, feature adoption, and measure impact on NPS and retention metrics
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to develop platform solutions that work across diverse retailer sizes and store formats
• Monitor and optimize data quality and collection efficiency as the program scales
• Represent the product roadmap to internal stakeholders and external partners where appropriate

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably building products in operationally complex physical environments
• Proven track record taking products from concept through scaled delivery and launch
• Strong data literacy with ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and make sound tradeoffs using analytical rigor
• Excellent communication skills—ability to align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders around shared goals without direct authority
• Deep empathy for frontline workers and retail partners, with accountability to customer and commercial outcomes
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort moving quickly in evolving environments while maintaining high standards
• Experience working at the intersection of logistics, retail operations, or marketplace platforms is a plus
