Software Engineer, Full-Stack

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology client seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer based in Brazil. This is a remote contract position working with a team headquartered in the United States. You'll build software that powers customer-facing kiosks and the infrastructure behind them, writing code that interfaces with hardware, visual components, and cloud systems. This role offers end-to-end ownership—you'll take projects from concept through shipping while contributing across multiple parts of the codebase in various languages.

Responsibilities

• Own major feature development from initial design through production deployment
• Build new products and features from scratch alongside hardware, software, and design teams
• Develop full-stack solutions across web applications, infrastructure, and hardware integration
• Architect scalable systems and refactor existing codebases for performance and reliability
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure to support production systems
• Maintain and continuously improve code serving millions of transactions
• Work directly with leadership on product strategy and technical decisions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong expertise in one or more of: Python, Node.js, C++, Go, C#, or Java
• Demonstrated ability to learn new languages, libraries, and frameworks as needed
• Track record of building production-ready code used by large user bases
• Located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and authorized to work as a contractor

Preferred:

• Experience shipping quality code rapidly in fast-paced environments
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure deployment and management
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency with SQL and database technologies
