DMS Systemadministrator (m/w/d) – Full Remote aus Bayern

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential public-sector technology organization seeking a DMS System Administrator to support digital transformation initiatives across Bavaria. Working remotely from anywhere in the region, you will:

• Guide document management system projects within municipal and public administration environments from requirements through successful delivery
• Conduct structured analysis of client requirements, capturing both functional and technical specifications
• Configure, customize, and migrate enterprise content management solutions for public-sector deployments
• Deliver targeted training sessions and workshops to end users and project stakeholders
• Support testing phases, production rollouts, and ongoing operational stability
• Analyze system challenges and contribute actively to continuous process improvement and standardization efforts

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a candidate with proven experience in public administration IT systems and a structured, solution-focused approach:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in public service, municipal IT environments, or IT system integration firms
• Hands-on experience with installation, implementation, or administration of DMS/ECM systems and electronic file management (E-Akte)
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and Microsoft Server environments is highly advantageous
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive solutions forward
• Excellent communication skills with fluent German language proficiency (written and spoken)
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Authorization to work in Germany
