We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join Playtech's London-based team on a full-time, remote basis. This Sales and IT-facing role offers the opportunity to identify, develop, and nurture high-value business opportunities for one of the global gaming and technology sector's leading innovators.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Playtech, you'll operate at the intersection of sales and technology, identifying new market opportunities and transforming them into sustainable revenue streams. Working remotely from London, you'll take ownership of the full business development lifecycle, from market analysis through deal closure, collaborating with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and technology teams to deliver tailored solutions to prospects and clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business development opportunities within assigned markets or verticals
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand relationships with existing clients
- Prepare compelling business cases, proposals, and pitch materials that articulate value propositions to prospects
- Lead commercial negotiations and work towards mutually beneficial contract agreements
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunity leads, using CRM and analytical tools to track progress and forecast revenue
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment on customer needs
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic positioning and opportunity identification
Who We're Looking For
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within technology, SaaS, or gaming sectors
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close high-value commercial opportunities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using CRM systems and data to inform decision-making
- Self-motivated and resilient, comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Understanding of or enthusiasm for gaming technology, digital platforms, or B2B software markets
