Senior Account Director Digital Solutions / Client Partner (m/f/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital agency seeking a Senior Account Director to lead client relationships and drive commercial growth. This is a client-facing leadership role focused on strategy, business development, and relationship management—not operational project delivery or team management.

In this position, you will own a portfolio of client accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and primary contact. Your success will be measured by the strength of your client partnerships and your ability to translate business challenges into commercially successful engagements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain close, trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients as their primary point of contact
• Identify and address clients' underlying business challenges rather than simply processing briefings
• Convert business opportunities into signed contracts and contribute to annual order volume targets
• Shape account team rituals and culture to drive outstanding results and client satisfaction
• Set strategic direction and inspire cross-functional teams without formal management responsibility
• Provide strategic guidance on digital solutions that deliver measurable business value

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of experience in client service, account management, or consulting within an agency or in-house environment
• University degree in engineering, economics, or a related field (or comparable qualification)
• Strategic mindset with genuine enthusiasm for digital topics and solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills with natural ability to connect, listen, and identify what truly matters to clients
• Demonstrated passion for owning client relationships and driving commercial growth
• Proficient English required; very good written and spoken German is mandatory
• Track record of energizing teams and creating positive momentum around client objectives
