About This Position

As a Deli Baker at our East Saint Louis location, you'll play a key role in our retail food operations. Working in our on-site bakery, you'll prepare and bake fresh bread, pastries, and deli items daily to meet customer demand and maintain our quality standards. Core Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
• Portion, shape, and proof dough for production throughout the day
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent quality and food safety
• Maintain a clean, organized bakery station and follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with the deli and food service team to meet customer needs and peak service times
• Stock bakery displays and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
