Child and Adolescent Therapist – SPACE Certified – Contract/1099

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization that provides specialized mental health services for children and adolescents. They are seeking SPACE-certified therapists to join their growing contractor network serving families across Pennsylvania and Virginia.

SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related conditions. In this model, you'll work primarily with parents and caregivers to reduce accommodation behaviors and respond more supportively to their child's anxiety. The child doesn't always need to attend sessions, but they remain the focus of treatment.

This is a 1099 contractor position with flexible scheduling and a guaranteed caseload from day one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SPACE treatment to families navigating separation anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, panic disorder, phobias, and ARFID
• Work primarily with parents and caregivers using the parent-based treatment model
• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with families in Pennsylvania and Virginia
• Participate in weekly clinical consultation and peer support sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the organization's EMR system
• Build and maintain your own recurring weekly schedule

What We're Looking For

• Active Pennsylvania or Virginia license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LMSW, SISW, or other master's level mental health professional
• Completed SPACE training (required) and earned official SPACE certification
• 1+ years of experience treating children and adolescent patients or related experience in child development
• 1+ years of telehealth or virtual care experience
• Comfortable working in a parent-based treatment model
• Minimum availability of 8 hours per week
• Availability after 3pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends preferred
• Passion for family-centered, evidence-based care

Pay

This role is offered on a 1099 contractor basis. Compensation is session-based and varies by credential level. Our client handles credentialing, billing, insurance verification, and EMR management so you can focus on clinical work. You'll have the flexibility to build your own schedule and set your own caseload pace.
