About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide specialized care for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause transitions. This remote, contract role offers the flexibility to build your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on an underserved patient population.
Our client partners with OB/GYN and family medicine practices to deliver integrated mental health services using a collaborative care model. As part of their virtual care team, you'll provide evidence-based therapy to patients who need specialized support during critical life stages.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual teletherapy sessions to patients using a secure virtual platform
- Conduct comprehensive psychological intake assessments for program-referred patients
- Document patient progress and share treatment recommendations with medical providers and psychiatric consultants
- Develop post-session care plans with actionable insights and follow-up steps
- Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients requiring more intensive or specialized care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Active, independent mental health license in Kentucky (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC)
- Ability to practice without supervision
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual care delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice
Strongly Preferred:
- Formal perinatal, perimenopause, or menopause mental health training, OR minimum 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant, postpartum, or perimenopausal patients
- Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International
- Certification in treatment of perimenopause/menopause populations
