Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential private equity-backed professional services organization in Berlin that is building a consolidated group through strategic acquisitions. As an intern or working student in the Group Transformation Team, you will:
- Support post-merger integration activities, helping to transform acquired firms into a cohesive operating group where your analysis directly informs implementation decisions
- Contribute to portfolio steering and value-creation initiatives, from identifying improvement levers to tracking execution across portfolio companies
- Participate in developing and implementing AI and technology strategies, including building practical tools at both portfolio and holding-company levels
- Work directly with management teams on strategic and operational challenges, representing your project work in stakeholder discussions
- Own discrete projects end-to-end rather than providing support tasks, serving as the point of contact for your workstreams
What We're Looking For
- A completed or current Master's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or nearing completion of a Bachelor's degree with excellent grades
- Initial practical experience in management consulting, business transformation, technology (ideally with AI exposure), the start-up ecosystem, or comparable environments
- Independent, structured working style with a commitment to continuous learning; enthusiasm for and experience with AI technologies is explicitly welcomed
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced buy-and-build environment with direct exposure to investment stakeholders
