Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology organization operating in the defence and security sector. Our client develops complex, software-based systems for safety-critical applications. In this role, you will drive the technological evolution of modern distributed system architectures.
- Design and develop modern, distributed, and containerized system architectures
- Conceptualize and evaluate virtualized and networked systems
- Assess suitable cloud and orchestration platforms for security-critical applications
- Monitor technological developments in Cloud Native, Edge Computing, and software-defined infrastructure
- Collaborate with customers, industry partners, and public institutions
- Provide technological consultation in workshops and client projects
- Define new technological requirements in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience with complex system architectures in defence, security, or comparable technology environments
- Strong knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of distributed, resilient, and software-defined systems
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
