Staff, Analytics Engineer, GTM Data Science & Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join their Go-To-Market data team. This role is mission-critical to advancing data quality, reliability, and strategic value across sales analytics, reporting, data science, and AI capabilities. You'll design and maintain a robust business data layer that serves as the foundation for trusted decision-making across revenue operations.

This is a remote position based in the USA, with occasional travel for team gatherings and stakeholder meetings. Please note this role is not available in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, or WA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a formal business data layer using dbt, centralizing and reconciling data from multiple sources to establish a single source of truth for GTM metrics
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in operations and finance to define, document, and maintain alignment on key business metrics and data definitions
• Develop and maintain automated data reconciliation and quality checks to proactively identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy across critical reports and dashboards
• Mentor data science and analytics team members, establishing best practices around data modeling, testing, documentation, and code review processes
• Lead investigations into complex data anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or related discipline
• Direct experience supporting GTM or sales analytics in a SaaS environment strongly preferred
• Advanced expertise in SQL with hands-on experience designing data models and orchestrating pipelines using dbt
• Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders to codify, document, and reconcile critical business metrics across the organization
• Proven track record implementing data quality and testing frameworks, including dbt tests, CI/CD processes, and data observability tools
• Strong technical communication and mentorship skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
