Software Developer | Full-stack (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential maritime technology organization seeking a Full-stack Software Developer to join their Applications team near Hamburg. In this role, you will own the development and evolution of critical internal engineering platforms used across the organization to design and configure software projects for maritime vessels worldwide.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Building and maintaining backbone applications from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborating directly with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and deliver reliable features
• Troubleshooting operational issues and resolving bugs in production systems used company-wide
• Serving as a technical point of contact for colleagues and field technicians when systems require support
• Taking full ownership of your code with a "you build it, you run it" philosophy

What We're Looking For

• Currently based in Hamburg, Germany, or residing elsewhere in Germany with willingness to relocate to Hamburg
• A relevant university degree in computer engineering or related field, and/or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience with.NET (C#), demonstrating ability to build scalable and maintainable solutions
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git/SVN), and build tools (Bamboo/Jenkins, Bitbucket)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to technical challenges
• Excellent communication abilities—you can explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality and reliability
• Fluent German (C1 level); good working English
