Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Senior SAP BTP Consultant to join their team in Heidelberg. In this role, you will:
- Advise clients on the design, implementation, and evolution of solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Analyze existing business processes and develop innovative cloud solutions based on SAP BTP
- Design and implement side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions
- Develop and implement applications using SAP Build, SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAP Extension Suite, and RAP
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Integration Suite
- Develop modern Fiori applications and user-friendly interfaces
- Participate in planning and implementing cloud architectures and hybrid system landscapes
- Support migration of existing applications to SAP BTP
- Conduct workshops, requirements analysis, and technical design sessions with clients
- Create technical concepts, documentation, and best practices
- Integrate SAP Joule into existing SAP system landscapes
- Support configuration and continuous optimization of SAP Business AI functions
- Design and implement Joule-based solutions to optimize business processes
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in SAP consulting or SAP development
- Strong knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
- Experience with at least one of the following: SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP Build, SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), or SAP Business Application Studio
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its extension capabilities
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern software architectures
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or SQL
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OData, and web services
- Experience with Git and modern DevOps processes is advantageous
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
