About the Role

As an evening care assistant with Home Instead, you'll form meaningful relationships with our clients whilst supporting them at a time when they need it most. This full-time position offers consistent evening shifts, allowing you to build genuine connections through reliable, person-centred care. What You'll Do

• Provide personal care assistance with washing, dressing, and grooming
• Support meal preparation and help clients with eating and nutrition
• Assist with mobility, moving around the home, and stair management
• Offer companionship and emotional support during evening hours
• Help with light housekeeping and domestic tasks as needed
• Monitor wellbeing and promptly report any concerns or changes
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with the care team
• Work flexibly and adapt to individual client needs and preferences

Requirements

• Genuine compassion and patience with older and vulnerable adults
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS screening
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent evening shifts
• Physical capability to support clients with daily living activities
• Flexibility and responsiveness to individual client circumstances
• Care experience is valued; comprehensive training provided to suitable candidates
