We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Chichester location on a temporary, part-time basis. You'll be at the heart of the store, creating positive customer experiences whilst supporting the wider team. This is an ideal opportunity if you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and want flexible, short-term employment that fits around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service on the shop floor
- Assist customers with product selection and answer their questions confidently
- Process sales transactions accurately using our till systems
- Maintain stock levels and replenish shelves to keep the store looking well-organised
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Support the team during busy periods and contribute to a positive store atmosphere
- Follow store procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Willingness to learn our systems and store procedures quickly
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a bonus but not essential
