BAP – Data Analyst

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential blockchain technology organization seeking a Data Analyst intern to join their Risk/Data function in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large-scale data processing and analytics in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate who can commit at least 3 days per week for a minimum 3-month internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines and analytics workflows
• Support data standardization and normalization projects, including address parsing and entity resolution
• Help build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis under mentorship and present findings to the team
• Assist in monitoring data quality and implementing validation logic
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional data projects

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Solid SQL skills; familiarity with Hive or Spark SQL is a plus
• Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• Strong interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection
• Good communication skills with eagerness to learn and take initiative
• Available for at least 3 days per week for a minimum 3-month internship duration
