Assistant Facility Manager

Join Eurofins in Madison, WI, US as an Assistant Facility Manager to support the operations and maintenance of our testing laboratory facility. This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in ensuring our facility runs smoothly and safely every day.

Position Summary

Eurofins seeks an Assistant Facility Manager to support facility operations and maintenance at our Madison location. You'll work alongside our facilities team to ensure our testing laboratory operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. In this hands-on role, you'll handle administrative and operational tasks that keep our facility environment optimal for our laboratory operations and staff.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating facility maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing
• Support inventory management for facility supplies, equipment, and maintenance materials
• Monitor facility systems and alert appropriate personnel to maintenance needs or operational issues
• Maintain facility documentation, inspection records, and compliance logs
• Coordinate with maintenance contractors and service providers as needed
• Assist with facility safety audits and support implementation of safety protocols
• Perform facility inspections, housekeeping coordination, and facility preparation tasks
• Support the lead Facility Manager with special projects and facility planning initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in facilities management preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance support, or related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of facility maintenance and laboratory safety protocols
• Proficiency with computer systems and facility management software
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive between locations as needed
