Delivery Hero is recruiting a Specialist/Senior Specialist, Payroll (APAC) for its Finance team in Hong Kong. This is a full-time position based on-site in Hong Kong, HK.

About This Position

Join Delivery Hero's finance function as a Payroll Specialist/Senior Specialist focused on the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you will take ownership of payroll operations and compliance across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to local regulations. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in complex, multi-jurisdictional payroll management within a dynamic, fast-growing organisation.

What You'll Do

• Process monthly and ad-hoc payroll across APAC jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local tax and employment legislation
• Manage payroll data integrity, employee records, and statutory compliance requirements across the region
• Liaise with local payroll partners, tax authorities, and HR teams to resolve payroll-related queries and issues
• Reconcile payroll transactions and prepare detailed payroll reports for finance and management review
• Monitor changes in payroll regulations and implement updates to payroll processes as required
• Support the continuous improvement of payroll systems, documentation, and internal controls

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll administration or a similar finance operations role, preferably with exposure to multi-country payroll
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment law, particularly in Asia-Pacific markets
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams
• Professional qualification (such as AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) is valued
