French Quality Control Specialist – Project Lyra

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking a French Quality Control Specialist for a short-term linguistics evaluation project. Our client is developing advanced conversational AI systems and needs native French speakers with strong linguistic backgrounds to assess and refine AI-generated content. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated text in French for linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and cultural appropriateness
• Identify quality issues and provide high-quality rewritten responses to improve language outputs
• Develop natural prompts and responses in French to enhance conversational datasets
• Work with structured evaluation tasks including preference ranking, prompt-response writing, grammaticality checks, and text improvement
• Deliver clear, constructive feedback on AI language model performance
• Collaborate with distributed teams to improve AI language quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Required: Strong academic or professional background in linguistics
• Required: Native or professional proficiency in French with excellent written communication skills
• Deep understanding of French grammar, linguistic structures, and cultural nuances
• Previous experience in language review, evaluation, editing, or similar quality assurance roles
• Detail-oriented approach with ability to maintain consistency across evaluations
• Comfortable working independently on remote, project-based assignments
• Availability to commit approximately 20 hours per week over a 4-week period

Project Details: This is a 4-week freelance contract starting as soon as possible, requiring approximately 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Location: France, fully remote.
