What This Role Involves

As Stock Controller at Culina Group, you'll be the backbone of our operations and distribution centre in Worksop. You'll manage day-to-day stock control activities, oversee inventory levels, and ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and reconciled. Working within a fast-paced operations environment, you'll maintain the integrity of our stock systems and contribute directly to the efficiency of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels across the warehouse, identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly
• Record all stock movements, receipts, and dispatches with precision in our inventory management system
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to verify system accuracy
• Coordinate with operations and distribution teams to ensure smooth stock flow and availability
• Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers when stock replenishment is required
• Investigate variances between physical stock and system records, implementing corrective actions
• Maintain warehouse organisation and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Generate stock reports and provide insights to support operational decision-making
• Support the continuous improvement of stock control procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in stock control, warehouse management, or a similar operations role
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and spreadsheet software
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliability and flexibility to adapt to business demands
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) desirable
