Senior Growth Consultant – CRM – Maternity Cover

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobile growth consultancy seeking a Senior CRM Consultant for a fixed-term maternity cover engagement (approximately 5-6 months) starting mid-November to early December. This senior-level role involves leading CRM and lifecycle marketing programs for a major streaming entertainment client across EMEA and APAC regions.

In this position, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, maintaining trust and strategic partnership throughout the engagement
• Lead technical CRM architecture and audits, including taxonomy reviews, event structure validation, API integrations, custom attributes, and webhook flows within Braze
• Leverage advanced Braze capabilities including custom events, real-time triggers, Liquid logic, and dynamic content for sophisticated lifecycle programs
• Own end-to-end lifecycle campaign execution across email, push, in-app messaging, and SMS channels
• Manage high-profile campaigns for major content launches and live events at scale
• Collaborate with creative, retention, martech, and CRM operations teams to deliver campaigns on schedule
• Validate event instrumentation and troubleshoot CRM workflows, APIs, and marketing data pipelines with client development and data teams
• Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing programs to optimize lifecycle touchpoints
• Analyze retention and engagement KPIs using analytics platforms, translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior resources supporting the account

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation for large-scale mobile, streaming, or subscription products
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Braze specifically, including API usage, Liquid logic, webhook setups, custom events/attributes, and advanced campaign architecture
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical audits and work directly with product and data teams on taxonomy, tracking plans, and event schemas
• Strong data literacy with ability to query data, build dashboards, and interpret findings using tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or Tableau
• Proven experience independently owning senior-level client relationships with minimal support
• Deep understanding of retention and engagement mechanics for large consumer/subscription products, including behavioral triggers, cohort segmentation, and monetization models
• Proficiency with HTML for messaging templates and cross-device troubleshooting
• Excellent client communication skills and confidence leading workshops, meetings, and audits with senior stakeholders
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Availability to start mid-November to early December for a 5-6 month fixed-term engagement

Preferred experience:

• Background with entertainment, streaming, or subscription-based media clients
• Multi-market/multi-region CRM program experience (EMEA and APAC)
• Experimentation design and testing platform familiarity
• Experience working in agile squads or cross-functional pods
• App store optimization and performance marketing knowledge
