Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and oversee sediment management and dredging projects from conception through completion
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets; track progress against established milestones
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, environmental specialists, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Manage regulatory compliance and environmental assessments related to sediment and dredging operations
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and proposals for clients and regulatory bodies
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; adapt strategies to address emerging challenges
  • Monitor project quality standards and ensure deliverables meet technical and client expectations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, project management, or related discipline
  • Proven project management experience in water infrastructure, sediment management, dredging, or similar engineering sectors
  • Strong understanding of sediment assessment, dredging methodologies, and environmental regulations
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software; familiarity with CAD or GIS tools is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is highly valued
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in remote team environments
  • Professional project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is preferred
