RCM Coordinator- Payor Focused

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an RCM Coordinator with a strong payor focus. This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. We're looking for a detail-oriented billing professional who thrives in a virtual team environment and can independently drive results while supporting national operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical billing duties in a professional manner, interacting with insurance plans, clinics, patients, and team members as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of correct and lawful practices for billing payers
• Participate in daily RCM processes, monitoring for accurate and timely completion of team duties
• Stay updated on RCM processes with national standard operating procedures, processes, and policies
• Utilize all available job aids, websites, programs, and resources provided
• Support leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs as required
• Maintain department productivity goals by completing a set number of accounts while meeting quality standards
• Identify and communicate any issues to leadership including system access, payor behavior, account workflow inconsistencies, or other RCM-related opportunities
• Perform other duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of medical facility or medical office billing experience
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
• Experience with automated billing systems preferred
• Knowledge of full revenue cycle processes, including working with insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Strong attention to detail and self-accountability
• Demonstrated cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk regularly; ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds

This is a full-time position.
