Knit – Research Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology client in their search for a Research Manager to join their remote team. Our client operates an innovative consumer research platform serving enterprise brands, and this role is critical to ensuring customer success and retention through exceptional research project delivery.

Responsibilities

As Research Manager, you will own the complete research lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, directly impacting customer retention and business growth. Your key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the dedicated research lead for all customer projects, maintaining ultimate accountability for research project success
• Conducting and documenting comprehensive project scoping to deeply understand research objectives and project context
• Acting as a solutions architect for customers, educating them on platform capabilities and consulting on custom requirements
• Driving quality control as the final approver on all customer-ready deliverables and presenting key insights directly to customers
• Maintaining enriched customer context documentation to improve the organization's ability to meet custom research needs
• Escalating complex needs or risks to Research Directors when project viability or customer satisfaction is at stake
• Participating in continuous product innovation to enhance AI research output quality
• Collecting feedback on post-delivery processes to support the product vision for stakeholder-ready reporting

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of market research experience, with majority of time spent supplier-side in a market research agency environment
• Hands-on experience leading discovery and scoping calls, writing and editing quantitative and qualitative questionnaires from scratch, drafting analysis plans, and creating stakeholder-ready insights reports and presentations
• Proven track record owning and supporting client relationships with Enterprise and Fortune 500 US-based companies, specifically working with insights professionals to achieve research outcomes that drive retention and growth
• Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives and outcomes in ambiguous environments and navigate complex customer needs
• Strong capability to manage competing priorities, multiple simultaneous research projects, and internal business demands successfully

Preferred:

• Experience successfully operating in an early-stage startup environment (under 50 employees)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai will be determined based on your experience and qualifications. The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annually, plus equity options and benefits including healthcare (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) with company match, technology stipend, and flexible time-off.
