About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization in the DACH region for a Senior Sales Manager position focused on B2B software and ERP solutions. Our client is seeking an experienced sales professional to own the complete sales cycle from qualified leads through contract closure, working with mid-market decision-makers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire B2B sales process from qualified leads to signed contracts
• Develop opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles with executive-level stakeholders including C-suite, IT leadership, and functional decision-makers
• Articulate business value and ROI of software solutions to prospective clients
• Collaborate closely with technical consultants, developers, and product experts, engaging them strategically when technical depth is required
• Identify new customer opportunities and build pipeline independently
• Manage sales pipeline and forecast with accountability for results
• Continuously improve sales processes and contribute to organizational growth
• Travel within the DACH region to meet with prospects and clients

What We're Looking For

• Several years of proven B2B sales experience with software, SaaS, IT, or complex solutions requiring consultative selling
• Demonstrated success in new business acquisition, negotiation, and deal closure
• Comfort managing longer sales cycles and engaging with senior executives up to C-level
• Professional, credible presence with strong closing orientation
• Structured approach to CRM management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and defining next steps
• Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for owning results
• Business-fluent German language skills required for this market
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or production software is a plus but not mandatory
