Power Platform Solutions Architect for Global Pharmaceutical Company

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential pharmaceutical organization seeking a Power Platform Solutions Architect to assess and modernize their existing Power Platform solution. This engagement involves defining target architecture and leading the technical design of a scalable, secure implementation across North America.

Our talent team is working exclusively with this client to identify an experienced architect who can evaluate their current state, recommend modernization strategies, and design a comprehensive technical solution spanning Power Platform, Azure services, and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessment of existing Power Apps applications, Power Automate flows, data layer, Power BI reporting, and integration touchpoints
• Support regulatory data-profiling initiatives and incorporate findings into target solution architecture
• Define and evaluate costed patch versus rebuild options and support final technical recommendations
• Produce detailed and staffed Phase 2 implementation plan
• Design consolidated Dataverse entity model and define workflow and business-logic architecture
• Define target integration architecture across multiple integration touchpoints
• Configure Entra ID access model for licensed and unlicensed user audiences
• Configure shared Azure API Management, Key Vault, and monitoring architecture supporting integrations
• Produce technical handover documentation for implemented solution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BI
• Strong experience designing Dataverse schemas and security roles
• Azure architecture experience with API Management, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID/SSO, and Azure Monitor/Application Insights
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures, including integrations where counterpart APIs or contracts are uncertain, changing, or being migrated
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with ERP systems
• Experience designing identity and access models for licensed and unlicensed user audiences
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform licensing models, including per-user Dataverse licensing and capacity/session-based Power Pages licensing
• Experience evaluating existing solutions and defining modernization, remediation, or rebuild strategies
• 6 hours overlap with Eastern US time zone required

Preferred qualifications:

• SAP integration experience

Commitment: Approximately 30 hours per week during Phase 1 and 10 hours per week during Phase 2

Location: Remote within USA or Canada only
