Corporate Solutions Engineer, Nordics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential API platform company in their search for a Corporate Solutions Engineer to support customers across the Nordic region. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the world.

Our client serves tens of millions of developers and hundreds of thousands of organizations globally. In this role, you'll partner with corporate sales teams to help organizations adopt API-first development practices, conducting technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-value workshops with prospects who are already familiar with and enthusiastic about the platform.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by nurturing prospects and supporting customers in the corporate market segment
• Conduct discovery sessions, qualification meetings, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-value workshops with prospective customers
• Address technical questions and objections, providing solutions or workarounds to meet customer needs
• Develop reusable collateral to help prospects understand API-first adoption practices
• Analyze customer workflows and recommend best practices for API-first development
• Advocate for customer needs internally and share feedback with product and engineering teams
• Stay current with competitive landscape, trends, and challenges in the API ecosystem
• Build proof-of-concept integrations, tooling, and workflows to support customer evaluations
• Maintain customer sandbox environments and document product best practices
• Serve as technical liaison between sales teams and internal departments

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of corporate sales or solutions engineering experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years working with APIs and data platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Strong customer-facing skills with ability to engage developers, QA teams, product managers, and engineering leaders
• Deep understanding of APIs, including hands-on experience producing and consuming APIs across different domains
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies, DevOps practices, and the software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with SaaS sales processes and common cloud security concerns
• Experience executing sales strategies using methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or Command of the Message
• Consultative approach—excellent listener who seeks to understand customer objectives before proposing solutions
• Proficiency with developer tooling: IDEs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring services, microservices, containers, and cloud platforms
• Fast learner excited to continuously acquire new technical knowledge
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Comfortable with JavaScript
