Role Overview

As Strategic Marketing and Events Planner, you'll develop comprehensive marketing strategies and oversee all phases of event execution. This position requires someone who can think strategically about audience engagement, translate organizational goals into concrete promotional initiatives, and measure success through clear metrics. You'll serve as a key link between Okgov's mission and the communities it serves, ensuring messages resonate and events achieve measurable outcomes.

Core Duties

• Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase awareness and engagement with Okgov programs and initiatives
• Plan, coordinate, and manage events from initial concept through post-event analysis and reporting
• Create marketing materials including digital content, print collateral, and promotional messaging
• Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, timelines, and logistics
• Collaborate with multiple departments to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities
• Track campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize strategies based on data insights
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and media contacts
