The Opportunity
As a Lifeguard at Pinehurst Country Club, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe aquatic environment for all our guests and members. This seasonal position offers the chance to work outdoors, stay active, and directly impact visitor wellbeing throughout the busy summer months. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimmers and water activities continuously, identifying hazards and intervening quickly to prevent accidents
- Respond to emergencies with swift, calm action, including water rescues and CPR administration when necessary
- Enforce facility rules and water safety protocols to ensure all patrons follow proper procedures
- Conduct regular safety checks of the pool deck, equipment, and surroundings
- Communicate clearly with team members and management about safety concerns or incidents
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong swimming ability and comfort in water
- Ability to remain alert during extended periods of surveillance
- Professional demeanor and commitment to guest safety
