About the Role
As a Paralegal - Real Estate Title and Survey, you will provide hands-on support to attorneys handling commercial real estate matters, with a particular emphasis on title and survey work. This position is based in one of the Firm's offices and supports teams across multiple locations, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando. The role is full-time and performed on-site in Charlotte rather than remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and summarize title commitments, exception documents, and related real estate records.
- Examine surveys and coordinate the resolution of title and survey objections.
- Assist attorneys throughout real estate transactions, from due diligence through closing.
- Organize, track, and maintain transaction files, deadlines, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with title companies, surveyors, and other parties to keep matters moving efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal experience involving real estate title and survey matters.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working closely with attorneys and external partners in a collaborative setting.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in the Charlotte office.
