The Opportunity

Ancora Education seeks a strategic, relationship-focused professional to serve as a Business Solutions Consultant-MMC. Working under the Director of Career Services, you'll develop and strengthen partnerships with regional employers, identify externship and employment opportunities, and serve as a bridge between the institution and the business community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about connecting talent with opportunity and building long-term professional networks that benefit both students and employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers to identify full-time positions, internships, and externship placements for students and recent graduates
• Recruit and onboard employers as Advisory Board members and partner organizations
• Develop employment pipeline strategies and coordinate outreach to expand the employer network across multiple sectors
• Collaborate with academic departments to align employer needs with student skills and program outcomes
• Conduct employer site visits, attend industry events, and participate in career fairs to strengthen community connections
• Track employment outcomes and provide regular reporting to leadership on partnership development and placement metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business development, career services, human resources, or a related field
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships and partnerships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the institution professionally
• Experience in job placement, recruitment, or employer engagement
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple employer relationships and follow-up activities
• Familiarity with career services platforms, applicant tracking systems, or employment databases is a plus
